Tankless Water Heaters

What is it?: Tankless water heaters eliminate the cost of continuously heating water that just sits in the storage tank. Tankless water heaters use less energy overall than conventional hot water heaters with storage tanks because they don’t heat water when you are not using hot water, like at night or when you are gone.

Contrary to popular belief, hot water from a tankless water heater is not available instantly unless it is installed at the point of use.  In this regard, it is the same as a storage water heater.
